Assembly

The Assembly gives Chamber members the opportunity to bring forward business issues, discuss their impact and agree on any action that needs taking.

It plays a crucial role on behalf of the Chamber's members – it acts as a sounding board, a decision-making group and a focal point to tackle business issues across the Greater Manchester business community.

Our quarterly meetings, chaired by Chamber President Emma Holt, remain a vital and valued element of our work on behalf of our members. With open forum debate, interactive voting and expert speakers, there are a number of ways for members to get involved. You can become an elected Assembly member or one of our Local Presidents – a more formal role in the Assembly, championing local business issues.

If you are interested in joining Assembly as an elected member click here – nominations run until 28th March

Assembly members get advanced notice to meetings with key local and national political and business leaders, as well as other opportunities to play a major role in other parts of the Chamber's work.
