The Skyline Breakfast is for businesses who are based, or do business, in the city and at each event there will be a presentation on a topic that will help you do better business in Manchester. There is also the opportunity to network with colleagues over breakfast while gazing at the impressive Manchester skyline from the luxurious comfort of Cloud 23 at the Hilton

In June (17th-23rd) Manchester is hosting the UK National Laughter Festival. It is dedicated to raising awareness of laughter for happiness, health, stress management and teambuilding.

Chamber Member and Festival Director; Robin Graham will be our guest speaker at this event. Robin will take us through how if we understand what our laughter means, and understand what other people’s laughter means, we can start to use this knowledge to make a difference. To the way we respond to other people, to the way we behave, and to enjoy, encourage and use appropriate laughter.

If everyone understood this, humour and laughter could be part of the culture in every office and every business and every home in the country, helping to get rid of stress, get rid of fear, and increase quality of life. Laughter is a tool for teambuilding, communications, health, happiness and stress management.

During the event 10 companies will be given the chance to give a 60 second pitch on their business to fellow attendees - and one lucky attendee will be picked as our Member speaker for the next event.
