Passport to Export
Passport to Export is a comprehensive toolkit of advice and support aimed at helping new and inexperienced exporters take their first steps into international trade.
Passport to Export is an assessment and skills-based programme, which provides new and inexperienced exporters with the training, planning and ongoing support they need to compete more successfully in oversees markets.
The programme offers up to £1,500 worth of match-funded support that includes up to six days of advice and support from an expert in the International Trade team, who will help you to:
- Develop an export strategy and action plan
- Get support before visits to an overseas market
- Evaluate visits and review strategy
- Determine and fulfil any training needs. For example, export marketing, administration, documentation and language and cultural awareness.
Companies will also receive access to the full range of services offered by other partners such as UK Trade & Investment. This includes research into potential market, information and opportunities, cultural and communication requirements and arranging marketing and promotional material.
