We can help you deliver careers education. Good quality, impartial careers education is vital in supporting each young person to access a learning route that suits their interests, abilities and learning styles.
Our team is experienced in auditing provision, training staff, writing schemes of work and producing classroom materials such as It’s My Life…and My Work, A-Z of Work Experience and All About Me.

Our offer extends from supporting you to design and deliver a careers education programme, to providing and delivering the complete programme.

Diagnosis/Consultancy Offer to:-

• Audit the quality of careers Education provision to judge the extent it meets the needs of your pupils. Our diagnostic tool will help you to identify strengths, weaknesses and areas for improvement
• Provide consultancy on careers education and how it can be delivered in the curriculum. We can also look at how it can be integrated with work related learning, citizenship and personal, social, health and economic education (PSHE).

Delivery Offer to:-

• Help you put in place consistent and effective arrangements for providing teachers of careers education with the knowledge and skills they need to perform effectively
• Provide classroom materials designed to help your school to deliver high quality careers education
• Produce & implement a programme for you, inc. delivery

Programme Content

Examples of content we can deliver include self awareness, decision making, job search skills, subject related group work and pathway choices.

We can also facilitate a range of activities to enhance careers elements within your curriculum e.g. sessions looking at Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). Schools and colleges can assure parents and their children of high quality CEIAG by attaining and maintaining a Quality Award in CEIAG.

It’s My Life… and My Work

It’s My Life…and My Work is a popular resource, designed by teachers for teachers. It provides a complete careers education and work related curriculum pack. The pack can be used with all LDD young people aged 11 to 19.
