WHAG is a charity that was founded in Rochdale 1981 to offer housing and support to vulnerable homeless women in the Borough. Over time, its work has expanded to include domestic abuse services for women, men and children work across a wider area.

WHAG runs projects in Rochdale, Bury, and Cheshire West and Chester. It offers a high quality and valuable services to vulnerable homeless women in Rochdale, and work with women and men experiencing and fleeing domestic abuse in Rochdale, Bury and Cheshire West and Chester.

As an organisation WHAG's vision is to End Domestic Abuse, Homelessness, and relationship breakdown and its values are Empowerment, Choice, Change and Strength.

As an organisation WHAG wants to break the myths surrounding domestic abuse and ensure that people know where to access support.

WHAG also work closely with its sister CiC who raise awareness of how to have healthy and positive relationships through training programmes.
