Recruitment, from the perspective of both businesses and jobseekers, has changed significantly over the past decade, and will continue to change in the future. The increasing diversity in how job roles are advertised and filled is a potential source of labour market failure, with businesses struggling to reach the correct audience, or jobseekers facing unnecessary barriers to landing their perfect job. By increasing awareness amongst both groups, we hope to make recruitment more effective.

Objectives:

  • Raise awareness amongst businesses and jobseekers of the multitude of recruitment channels available, and how recruitment practices have and will change in the future.

  • Help businesses to develop mechanisms that enable them to better reach their intended audience and increase the chances of attracting the right person.
