Nominations Open for The Steve Burne Apprentice of the Year Award 2019 - sponsored by Laing O’Rourke

Nominations are now open for the seventh Greater Manchester Chamber Apprentice of the Year Award, named in 2018 after Steve Burne, our former Vice-President of Greater Manchester Chamber and Chairman of the Property & Construction Group.

We are inviting nominations for any current construction apprentice (technical or trade based) in the Greater Manchester area (they must be working towards full apprenticeship framework or standard).

The nomination form should be completed by the individual’s line manager, with feedback from the mentor/training provider. Forms will be reviewed by our expert judging panel and individually scored.

This prestigious award will be presented at the Property & Construction Annual Dinner & Awards on Thursday 3rd October 2019 at the Imperial War Museum North.

The winner will receive The Steve Burne Apprentice of the Year Award sponsored by Laing O’Rourke and a cash prize (a share of £1,000).  All shortlisted candidates and their nominators will be invited to attend the Property & Construction Annual Dinner, so please provisionally hold the date once you have submitted your nomination
