Changes to the GM Arts Prize

In response to the impact of the ongoing uncertainty, escalation of Covid-19 Coronavirus and the resulting government advice, Greater Manchester Chamber has today taken the difficult decision to postpone this year’s Greater Manchester Arts Prize.

Over the last few days we have watched the ever evolving situation, considered all our options and as a result we hope to hold the Greater Manchester Arts Prize in late 2020. We do hope you understand the reasons why this decision that has been taken. Although this is an important event, and helping to promote and help the development of artists in Greater Manchester in one of the Chamber’s priorities in supporting the cultural sector, we need to put the health and safety of entrants, our sponsors, gallery staff and our staff first. As soon as we have the re-arranged date we will let you know and hope you will enter the rescheduled competition.

Changes to our office

All our staff are remote working in line with official guidance. Our offices, Members’ Lounge and Chamber Space rooms are closed until further notice. All Chamber staff are still accessible via email, mobile and social media.
