Statement From The Chamber

As a responsible organisation we will only ever put links to official guidance and help on here or promote them through our social media channels. This includes guidance and advice from the government, NHS, other business organisations and verified sources of help.

Our 3 priorities are:

  • to make sure that you are informed of latest developments - especially around sources of financial help and assistance

  • to listen to what you have to say - we are in constant communication with government at local and national level

  • to support you whether that is guiding you to help or helping keep you connected to others. Now more than ever we all have to pull together right across society and community.

We are, like others, still very much open for business, we'll just be doing it differently. Our staff are remote working except for essential coverage for our Export Documentation team- see below for information on this service.

Currently, the Chamber is operating remotely and all staff are working from home. Following a review of current and expected short term requirements we have made the decision to furlough some staff - read why the Chamber made this decision here.

If you don't already, then follow us on social media channels (@gmchamber) and book mark this page as it will be updated daily.
