In 2018, 67% of businesses had experienced some form of cybersecurity attack, and 58% were hit by a data breach*.

The risks facing businesses in 2019 are only set to rise, with more attacks of increasing efficiency.  Leaders of businesses, large and small, must appreciate this very real threat to their organisation.

The first line of defence is knowledge, which is why the Chamber is hosting a free event to help the business community understand the real-world threats they face.

Topics we will cover

  • The cyber threats you will face in 2019.

  • The consequences of a breach and how they have affected businesses.

  • How to identify the key threat areas in your business?

  • How do you protect yourselves considering these threats?

  • What solutions can be put in place to reduce your risk?

Technology Patron, IT Lab, will be guest speakers at the event, sharing their knowledge and experience of helping businesses stay safe and mitigate this modern-day threat.

Who should attend?

The event is aimed at a business audience and the content will focus on business issues and risks, rather than technical.

This event is suitable for those who are:

  • Executive Directors
