We're delighted to invite you to our next Business Women's Network lunch on the 21st June.
We're very excited to be welcoming Caroline Roberts Cherry of Saffron Cherry TV as our guest this month. Caroline is also a trustee of the Royal Exchange Theatre, and is Executive Producer of the documentary 'Emmeline Pankhurst, The Making of a Militant', airing on BBC North West at 7.30pm this Friday. It's a brilliant look into Emmeline's story, through the eyes of her great granddaughter, the author Helen Pankhurst, and is presented by Sally Lindsay. We'll see some exclusive clips and have a Q&A session with Caroline on the making of the programme, and working with Helen Pankhurst.
Places are going quickly, so please book ASAP and bring along any guests / colleagues that you'd like to experience this event too.
And of course, don't forget to watch the programme on Friday 8th June - it will be available on iplayer afterwards, too. Let us know what you think on Twitter during / after the programme, tagging @gmchamber @GMCC_Stella and @SaffronCherryTV , and using the programme's hashtag #BeMoreEmmeline.
We look forward to seeing you for what promises to be a great event, a good opportunity to network, and a chance to celebrate the Manchester women who worked tirelessly and bravely to drive change and make history, to get women the vote
At the Business Women's Network events, we are keen to build on the developments, focusing on gender and business issues that have taken place over the last 12 months. We would very much like you to be a part of the exciting developments and continue to work with us to build upon the success of the programme. We would also encourage you to share your views on:
- Ideas for future developments of the GMCC Business Network for Women - including events
- Key gender issues affecting business
- How GMCC should be the voice of its members on those issues in 2018
These events are not to be missed and offer an excellent networking opportunity for the 80+ attendees - so book now to attend!
