Industrial Strategies can best be described as the strategic co-ordination of all economic interactions between the state and the private sector, and the GM LIS will outline a set of long-term policy priorities to help provide the foundations of good employment and economic growth across the region.
The Greater Manchester LIS is in its first consultation phase and the GMCA want to develop the strategy with the input and help of local businesses right across Greater Manchester.
