Led by VP Mike Graney, a small team from Charleston Regional Development Alliance (www.crda.org) will be in the UK in the first week of September, meeting companies that are considering the possibility of future US expansion. CRDA is a US economic development agency in South Carolina which offers free practical support to companies that are looking to establish or expand their US presence.
If you are thinking about possible future short- or longer-term physical expansion in the USA, this would be an opportunity to learn about whether the Charleston SC region could be a good fit for you, and the assistance that CRDA can provide.
CRDA is focused on assisting with all needs associated with, for example, opening new offices, manufacturing units, research spaces or warehousing/logistics facilities. They can help with market information, costs analysis, regulatory matters and identifying the right premises, as well as information about tax breaks and other assistance available.
The Charleston region has an extremely well established industrial sector, and is experiencing very high growth in technology and service industries. From the Port of Charleston, to the automotive industry, to tourism, Charleston's industries are global in nature - with international competitors, supply chains, R&D, and talent.
