Most businesses choose to use an accredited management system to identify and manage risks, stakeholders, set objectives and drive continual improvement. The International Standard Organisation has now introduced ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management System Standard which now replaces BS EN 18001:2007 standard. Businesses with the old health and safety standard must be accredited under the new system by March 2021.
