Most businesses choose to use an accredited management system to identify and manage risks, stakeholders, set objectives and drive continual improvement. The International Standard Organisation has now introduced ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management System Standard which now replaces BS EN 18001:2007 standard. Businesses with the old health and safety standard must be accredited under the new system by March 2021.

This course provides health and safety managers with a detailed overview of the ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management System. It covers the additional requirements introduced through the Annex SL High Level Structure, such as Top Management requirements, defining factors that affect the organisation, and identifying stakeholders and their needs. It also provides a refresher of essential elements such as hazard identification and risk assessment, ensuring legal compliance and effective management of change.
