The issue of digital poverty is the subject of a brand new podcast series ‘Chamber Chatter’ from Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce.
IT company Nybble have been named as the Chamber’s first Campaign Partners for the work being done on digital poverty and Ram Gupta and Darren Grantham from Nybble chat to the Chamber’s Policy Director Chris Fletcher on this first episode outlining their thoughts on the issue as well as what practical action and help they have already taken.
Chris Fletcher said: "We are really excited to be launching this new podcast series in which we’ll be looking at a range of issues that are affecting not just business in GM but the wider community and looking at how businesses can get involved.
"Nybble are already partners and when you hear about what they have done already to tackle digital poverty it made perfect sense to have them as our first ever campaign partners.
"Over the coming weeks and months we’ll be talking to other businesses and local leaders on this and other issues, asking for help and exploring in more details some of the stories behind the headlines on things like Brexit, local transport, the local GM economy and skills to name a few."
