A new monthly comedy night featuring comedians from the major TV panels and roadshows is coming to Bolton with Carrs Pasties as the proud sponsor.
The first night will launch on Friday 15 December and will host four top comedians.
To celebrate the new sponsorship and the launch of Laugh Out Loud Comedy Club in Bolton, Carrs Pasties will be handing out free pasty vouchers at the door. The vouchers can be used at any Carrs Pasties retail shops in Bolton.
Matt Carr, Commercial Director at Carrs Pasties, said: “We are very proud to support Damion Larkin's brilliant comedy club. Our Liam has been friends with Damion for years now, back when hardly anybody had heard of him. And now, it’s great to see him here in Bolton and it’s as if nothing has changed.”
Carrs Pasties opened in 1938 and currently has four shops in Bolton, plus retailers outside of Bolton, including Bury and Salford.
As if that wasn’t enough, the first night (Friday 15 December) has Archie Kelly, who is best known for playing ‘Kenny Senior’ in Channel 4′s ‘Phoenix Nights’. Further TV credits include ‘Max and Paddy’s Road To Nowhere’, ‘Coronation Street’, ‘Shameless’, ‘Emmerdale’ and ‘The Street’. He was also involved with the enormously successful ‘Jumping On The Bandwagon’ theatre stand-up tour with Paddy McGuinness.
His comedy is effortlessly funny and he is the epitome of a master performer with a unique combination of jokes, tightly paces anecdotes, and musical parodies. As a result, he’s in demand all over the UK and beyond.
There’s no one quite like Archie, so come and see this highly original and hilarious comedian as it might be years until he’s in Bolton again!
