Celebrate the amazing skills and talent in construction management

For over 40 years the Construction Manager of the Year Awards (CMYA) has built a fantastic reputation for shining a spotlight on the up-and-coming talent in our sector. The awards are highly respected within the construction industry as the most rigorously judged, celebrating the achievements of exceptional individuals that develop, conserve and improve the built environment, meeting the changing needs of our global society.

BIGGEST ISN’T NECESSARILY BEST

You don’t need to have worked on a huge, well-known project. Mega-projects don’t always mean mega-success. It’s all about how the individual led the team, operated proactively, showed initiative, managed costs, overcame challenges and went above and beyond, to show that they are really at the top of their game.

If this sounds like a client, employee, or colleague you know then please don’t hesitate to nominate them, submit your entry for free by 19 March 2021.

How to enter

The online portal for entries couldn’t be easier. Register and receive your login to the application portal. Then complete your application in the format of a project report, answering a total of 12 questions in relation to the project.

You can pause your application and return to it at any point prior to the submission date.

For more information see either our website FAQ's, or get in touch by calling 01344 630700, or by emailing info@cmya.co.uk.

To be eligible for entry, projects must have achieved ‘practical completion’ in the UK and Northern Ireland between 13 March 2020 and 19 March 2021. Managers can be either site-based or non-site based and it is open to CIOB members and non-members alike. Furthermore, becoming a finalist means eligibility for CIOB Chartered Membership (MCIOB).

CMYA 2021 will be an important opportunity to celebrate the construction sector and the management talent working in it. I'm sure that once again, we'll see fierce competition from the finest construction managers in the industry, showcasing the highest levels of professionalism and commitment. I'm looking forward to seeing what this year's competition brings.”
