To celebrate International Day of Persons with Disabilities on Monday 3rd December, The University of Manchester will be launching their 2019 Student Experience Internship Programme for disabled students.

The University is committed to ensuring that its disabled students receive excellent support during their studies and are well prepared for life beyond university. In order to give its students and graduates the best chance of achieving their choice of career, the University has introduced a new initiative to help its disabled students gain valuable work experience for their CV and to give them the confidence to enter the graduate recruitment market place.

This internship scheme enables Manchester-based organisations to recruit a second year disabled student for six to eight weeks across the summer vacation. Fully funded through an endowment fund, there is no cost to the host organisation.

If you would like to offer one of the disabled students work experience or an internship opportunity over the summer vacation, please contact the recruitment team via email: for more information.
