Oldham based catering supplier, Linda Lewis Kitchens Ltd (LLK) is delighted to announce that they have been named as a finalist once again for this year’s Oldham Business Awards in the ‘Business of the Year £1-5 Million’ category.
This is not the first time the company has been up for their local business awards, LLK has now made the finalist position 4 times, winning the awards 3 times in total in various categories including Businesswoman of the Year, Supporting Young People and last year the catering equipment professionals scooped the award for ‘Business of the Year £1-5 Million’.
LLK is up once again against some tough competition A-C Tyres and Precision Pallets who are well known in the Oldham area and beyond in their respective industries.
This year the company has been selected as a finalist for its continued success as one of many thriving businesses in Oldham and for its commitment to developing its staff, 13 of which are born and bred in the borough.
Over the past 3 years, LLK has doubled in size hiring talent from all around the Oldham area in departments that have seen tremendous growth. For example, its Spares department has seen a 60% increase this year alone and LLK is on course to smash its £3million target, despite economic struggles as a result of BREXIT.
In addition, LLK’s seen a boost in sales since it launched its fully-operational demonstration site in Oldham, where dealers can bring their customers to trail their equipment before purchase. This has been instrumental in helping to secure big contracts for several dealers throughout the UK.

This was highlighted in LLK’s awards nomination and something that the judges that attended LLK were keen to hear more about.
