Being able to speak to the media and tell your company’s story with confidence and clarity is a valuable business skill. This introductory course is designed for people with little or no previous media experience. It will give company spokespeople the tools and practice they need to get their points across in a media interview without getting flustered.

The training covers the differences between preparing for newspaper, radio and TV interviews. Scenarios are tailored according to the business sectors represented in the room, with practice interviews steadily getting more difficult during the day.

The media training is delivered by Helen Furnivall, Managing Director of High-Rise Communicationswho is an experienced media trainer. Prior to setting up her own PR agency, Helen held senior strategy and communications roles at the British Red Cross, managing the charity’s media response for many UK emergencies.

The training is delivered with a camera operator for a realistic TV interview experience.
