It's been a busy few months with a jam-packed events calendar. Diane Elebert-Morgan delivers a run through on recent sector events you may have missed.

Autumn Property and Construction Lunch

September saw our Property & Construction Lunch re start after the summer holiday break

Manchester Airport (Anna Russell & Tom Williams) presented a fantastic update to over 170 delegates, and also a great insight into ‘behind the scenes’ logistics and planning

We will be providing another update end of Spring 2019. Look out for supply chain opportunities.

Property and Construction Dinner: Celebrating the winners!

We held our annual Property Dinner at the beginning of October at The Point, Old Trafford this year.

Over 350 people gathered to network and to see the outcomes of the 2 prestigious sector awards – the Building of the Year Award and the Apprentice of the Year Award.

Oldham Construction Club

Oldham Construction Club was held at the Victoria Hotel, Chadderton on the 16th October.

45 delegates heard from Oldham and Rochdale Councils who gave updates on the projects planned for new build and regeneration in the future. Delegates also were updated opportunities around apprenticeships and business support.

Women In Property

Last month saw our first Women In Property Event – in partnership with WIP NW.

Over 90 people came to The White Room at Elliot House to network and hear from Hayley Fielden (recently appointed Director at Sigma Capital) – it was a fantastic event and all thoroughly enjoyed.

November Stockport and Tameside Construction Club

At the November Stockport & Tameside Construction Club we heard about the two major projects in the region. Paul Richards, Director of Development & Regeneration at Stockport Council gave us an overview of the Stockport Town Centre regeneration programme before we heard from West Yorkshire-based contractors GMI Construction on phase 3 of the Stockport Exchange development. To Tameside, Willmott Dixon gave us an update on the progress of the £11.1m Tameside Wellness Centre.
