The Rise Internship Programme offers partner employers the opportunity to acquire the expertise of Manchester Metropolitan University's talented and diverse student body, whilst providing a platform for students to obtain exposure to an industry related to their career aspirations.

Internships will total 100-140 hours of work experience, which could encompass a mixture of office based, work from home projects or task orientated roles. The aim is to enable flexibility for host employers; internship vacancies can be submitted throughout the academic cycle, with students undertaking a working pattern suitable to your business needs.

You will be provided with all the necessary support to host employers and the University is happy to work with you to put together a suitable brief. The University does not expect that students will receive payment from participating employers for this activity; they will receive financial assistance from the University to cover the cost of any expenses.

This activity is open to students from all degree backgrounds across the University, so can cater to supporting an array of business needs.
