Rowlinson Knitwear has been announced as winner of the Employee Owned “Rising Star of the Year” award at the UK Employee Ownership Awards sponsored by Baxendale and held on 27 November 2017 at the Hilton Metropole Hotel, Birmingham. In addition, the company’s Head of People Services, Nicola Ryan, received a Highly Commended accolade in the “Employee Owner of the Year” category, in recognition for her outstanding contribution to Rowlinson and its values-led culture. The awards celebrate the significant contribution employee owned (EO) businesses make to the UK economy and the “Rising Star of the Year” award celebrates a business that is already becoming an effective company with a strong culture of employee ownership and commitment to engaging its workforce.
