A short tailored programme to prepare potential employees for the world of Retail. Often used when recruiting higher numbers of staff or for new store openings. The work academies are a great way to give your new employee a head start in a business and ensuring they have a deeper understanding of ‘what’s expected.'
Usually consists of:
- 1 week Level 1 Award in ‘Skills for Retail’ – classroom delivery at Seetec
- 1 week pre-employment training, relevant to the needs of your business - at Seetec
- 1 week ‘work trial’ hosted by the retailer
- a guaranteed interview with the retailer
A more detailed programme to engage with the talent pool of the future. 10-12 week programme designed to provide young people a real insight into working within the sector. Current employers benefiting from this include Costa Coffee, Premier Inn, Shake Shack and Quality Save.
