Stockport based specialist PR and marketing agency, Smith Goodfellow, is enjoying a positive start to 2021, celebrating continued business growth having won a contract with Siderise.
Siderise, a leading manufacturer of acoustic, fire and thermal insulation solutions, first approached the PR experts towards the end of last year, seeking support for the launch of their By Your Side initiative. An agreement for 2021 PR and marketing activity followed soon after. Working with Siderise’s UK based marketing team, Smith Goodfellow will develop strategy, messaging and technical content.
Cathy Barlow, Managing Director of Smith Goodfellow, said “Siderise was looking to generate more high-quality technical content, which is our particular area of expertise. We are excited to start working with such an innovative and forward-thinking company, who really understand the importance of maintaining good PR and marketing communications in these challenging times. This has been a great way to kick off 2021, and we are looking to grow further over the coming year.”
This is just the latest win in the company’s steadily growing client portfolio. As a specialist agency serving the construction, manufacturing, industrial and sustainability sectors, they deliver PR, marketing and creative support to a wide range of clients in the built environment, from multi-national corporations to small local manufacturers.
Despite the challenges of 2020, Smith Goodfellow continues to go from strength to strength. In May last year the team celebrated the business’s 40th birthday, marking the occasion by releasing a series of free PR and marketing resources for the business community, with the hope of helping other SMEs keep their communications strong throughout the pandemic. Alongside winning new clients and finding innovative ways to give back to their community, the company continued to demonstrate expertise within the construction industry, with well-respected MD, Cathy, lending her voice and experience to the NBS Marketing Masterclass for Manufacturers.
