When you hear the words ‘Manchester Tech’ the only thing you should be thinking of is MaxContact.
Never heard of them I hear you cry – well you should have as we are the best kept secret in Manchester.
MaxContact are a Manchester based tech company that are most certainly on the up.
In 2015 Ben Booth (Director) set up MaxContact with a view to supplying quality cloud contact centre solutions that are not only feature rich and compete with the big boys but are available at a fraction of the cost.
Back in 2015 MaxContact had a vision of growth and started developing their own solution that customers could take control of themselves and features could be added to easily. Nowadays people want to self-serve and make changes to their software so that’s why MaxContact allows its customers to access everything apart from the source code (With free training of course).
In the early days there were a team of developers sat in a dark room coding away with a vision of building the best contact centre solution known to man 😊 and 18 months later MaxContact was built and taken to market. Initial interest was fantastic from many companies that were looking to move away from an on-premise system that left them reliant on ageing hardware.
For some it was a big leap like selling an old reliable car to invest in the latest gadget filled model new to the market.
Over the past couple of years growth has been steady with staff numbers increasing up to 35 just before the lockdown period. However, at a time when our customer base needed us most we transitioned 5000 agents from office based to home working virtually overnight.
Throughout lockdown we have been able to keep all staff fully employed continuously supporting our customer base with no staff furloughed. Not only have we been very stable throughout this period we have continued to grow, recruiting 10 developers with a goal of 15 to help with the continuous new features being added to our portfolio of products.
New customers have also continued to grow during this period with us taking on 10 new customers and 1698 new agents.
MaxContact is not only an award-winning contact centre solution it also allows our clients to communicate with their customers in many ways including SMS, Email and webchat ensuring they provide their customers with a communication option that they prefer, any time of the day.
MaxContact solutions continue to grow aswell with Workforce Management now available and speech analytics coming onboard later this year.
