It was announced that employers, employees and the self-employed will initially pay an additional 1.25% in National Insurance Contributions (NICs) from April 2022.

This will increase costs for everyone but are you aware of the true impact this could have on your business and employees?

For employees, April 2022 will not only have the increase of 1.25% in National Insurance Contributions, but with a predicted rise in the price of petrol and annual inflation it could mean that they will have less to take home in their salary after this date than they currently do now!

This could result in employees requesting pay increases or looking for jobs elsewhere.
