Businesses including indoor play areas, bowling alleys, casinos, skating rinks, exhibition centres and conference halls will be able to reopen from 8th September across Greater Manchester with the exception of Bolton.

The ban on mixing with people from different households indoors remains in force in all Greater Manchester boroughs apart from Stockport and Wigan.

Bolton is subject to even tougher restrictions, with all hospitality having to be take-away only and with a strict night-time closure programme in place. Residents of the borough are also being told not to mix with other households in any setting indoors or outdoors anywhere, except in their support bubble. Residents have also been asked to only use public transport for essential purposes. Click here for more information.
