On 20th February as part of a cross Chamber initiative in the north of England, Mark Carne, the CEO of Network Rail, will be visiting Leeds for an event on the current and future delivery plans and strategy for rail in the north of England with a focus on the Transpennine routes. It is hoped that the Rail Minister will be accompanying him, as well as the Chair of Network Rail, Peter Hendy.
The session will allow for questions and answers and offers a unique chance to hear directly from the key decision makers on this issue, which has and probably will continue to dominate transport strategy and discussion for some time to come.
The event will be held at Addleshaw Goddard's offices in Leeds - 3 Sovereign Square, LS1 4ER, close to the main station in Leeds and will run from 2pm to 4pm with refreshments and networking before.
In addition to this being a rail event it will also offer the opportunity to meet and network with members from other Chambers across the north of England.
