As a member, you'll receive our weekly e-newsletter, which includes updates about the Chamber, membership benefits, and members’ news, events and offers. We have a strong presence on social media, through platforms including Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram, and we may also be able to help promote members' news via some of these channels.

The GM Chamber Member logo can be used on websites, email signatures and relevant marketing material. Only this logo, which includes the word 'Member' should be used, and should not be amended, distorted or modified in any way. The logo can be linked to our website, www.gmchamber.co.uk, and is available as a black, white or full colour logo. Please contact us to request the logo in an alternative format.

This logo is for Member use only and cannot be used if your company resigns from membership. The logo must not be used in such a way as to imply endorsement by GM Chamber of any product or service provided.

Connect with Nethub

We have partnered with Manchester-based technology company Nethub to provide our Members with a platform to connect and communicate with each other. Via Nethub, your whole team has access to the platform where they can make new connections with other members, find opportunities and build relationships.

Networking Events

The Chamber has an extensive calendar of over 150 events held across Greater Manchester each year, attended by as many as 8,500 delegates.

If you're looking to make new connections and grow your network, the Chamber has an event to suit you. We run general networking events, information sharing sessions, plus a number of sector-specific events, including: Property & Construction lunches, Engineering & Manufacturing forums and Hospitality events.

Chamber membership gives you exclusive access to the GMCC Members’ Lounge. The Lounge is based at the Chamber offices on Deansgate, right in the heart of the city centre.

Silent Review of Your Insurances

Chamber Partner JM Glendinning Insurance Brokers can conduct a silent review of your insurances. The benefit of a silent review is that it can be conducted at any time during the policy year but an ideal time is six months prior to the  expiry of your insurances. This takes away the time restraints and pressures of a renewal date without disturbing the relationship with the current broker/insurer. A full review of your insurances will be undertaken and this sometimes highlights inadequacies in covers and gives you a detailed analysis of premium in the current market conditions.

Export Documentation

The Chamber’s Export Documentation department is the leading provider of Export Documentation services to companies in Greater Manchester. We issue over 41,000 documents per year to exporters within the city region, which is equivalent to a document every 12 minutes, with goods valuing over £1 billion.

In Greater Manchester, Export Documentation services are available at our office in Elliot House on Deansgate, Manchester, and at our base at The World Freight Terminal at Manchester Airport. We provide advice on worldwide export documentation requirements and trade regulations, plus a range of specialised ICC publications on international trade. Customers can also access the up-to-date Harmonised System Integrated Tariff.
