Our Research
Quarterly Economic Research
Forming part of British Chambers of Commerce's national survey, our Quarterly Economic Survey is one of the largest contributors to the most authoritative national business confidence survey. As the first to be published in each quarter, its results are closely watched by senior business leaders, local and national government, HM Treasury, and the Bank of England's Monetary Policy Committee.
Local Skills Improvement Plan
Leading on the Local Skills Improvement Plan for GM, our remit involves identifying the skills shortages and labour market issues impacting businesses in our region, and recommending changes in current provision so that it better reflects employers’ needs. This research feeds directly into the GM Mayor’s Skills Strategy.
Construction Pipeline Analysis
We were awarded the accolade of ‘Most Effective Campaign’ at the British Chambers of Commerce national awards for the revolutionary methodology used in our Construction Pipeline Analysis Report. This approach delivers a new way of understanding future construction demand, and the challenges and opportunities within the local economy.
Commercial Research
We’re often commissioned by businesses and organisations in GM and further afield to deliver research projects on their behalf. We will work with our clients to agree a brief and a methodology, then we’ll conduct the research, analyse the results and report back our findings and conclusions.
