Bruntwood’s Station House, situated in the heart of Altrincham’s vibrant town centre, has undertaken a transformative refurbishment of one of its workspace floors - designed to support and empower SMEs.
The newly refurbished sixth floor brings to life a bold new vision for how local businesses work, connect, and grow. Ideally located near the vibrant Stamford Quarter, a joint venture between Bruntwood and Trafford Council and one of Greater Manchester’s most dynamic and fast-evolving districts, it delivers a flexible working environment curated for productivity, creativity, and comfort.
The space features tech-enabled meeting rooms for four to six people, available for both internal use and external bookings. A generous communal breakout area with kitchen, exclusively for sixth-floor occupants and meeting room guests. Additional amenities include private phone booths and design-led fitted suites ranging from 900 to 1,328 sq ft. Every element has been carefully considered to meet the needs of growing businesses.
In addition, the floor features nine fully serviced suites for teams of two to eight, offering the flexibility to scale at pace.
Located next to Altrincham Interchange, Station House is ideally placed to connect businesses across Greater Manchester and beyond, reinforcing its role as a strategic base for growth-focused enterprises. It is currently home to several businesses, including Zelus Sport, Improveasy, London Care, and Civica.
Customers also enjoy access to premium wellness facilities at neighbouring Foundation—a vibrant workspace and leisure destination designed to promote wellbeing and connection. With a fitness studio, showers, vanity areas, and cycle storage, it’s a space to recharge and network. Home to brands like Lane 7, Starbucks and SPORTFIVE, Foundation offers the chance to connect with a diverse community across both buildings.
Sharon Johnson, Head of Commercial at Bruntwood, said: “We’re incredibly excited to unveil the newly refurbished sixth floor of Station House. A vibrant, collaborative environment purpose-built to support the North West’s thriving start-up and scale-up community.
“There’s never been a more exciting time to grow and scale in the region, especially here in Altrincham, one of the North West’s most dynamic and sought-after town centres. With its unique blend of independent enterprises and household names, it’s fast becoming a go-to destination for ambitious businesses looking to thrive.
“At Bruntwood, we’re passionate about creating working environments that don’t just meet practical needs, but actively spark innovation, drive growth, and empower the next generation of businesses. The transformation at Station House is a clear reflection of that commitment, and we look forward to welcoming more small businesses and giving them the platform they need to succeed.”
