Claire, a long serving and previously well-regarded Senior Accounts Manager at ABC Studios, began to struggle with performance, behaviour, and team relationships over the past two years. Her missed deadlines, absences, and increasingly volatile conduct led to complaints and an investigation, during which she revealed she had been experiencing severe menopause symptoms. After further concerns about her attitude and management style, she was dismissed for gross misconduct. Claire has now brought Employment Tribunal claims for unfair dismissal and sex, age, and disability discrimination.
