Businesses across Greater Manchester are being encouraged to book their free visitor ticket for Wigan Business Expo, a one-day event designed to bring the local business community together for face-to-face connections, networking and practical learning.
Open from 9:00am, the Expo will feature a full exhibition floor of local businesses, services and support organisations, alongside a programme of short, high-impact workshops and a keynote guest speaker session.
Visitors can drop in at any time and do not need to attend for the full day.
Sponsored by DASCO Construction and JGP Consultancy, organisers say the event is ideal for businesses looking to build new relationships, pick up fresh ideas, and leave with contacts and takeaways they can put into action straight away.
Keynote speaker Maura Jackson, known as “The Feather Fixer”, will take to the stage from 1:15pm to 1:45pm, bringing a session focused on motivation and resilience, delivered with humour and honesty.
The free workshop programme includes:
• 10:00am – 10:30am: How to Write a Winning Awards Application (Wigan Business Awards)
• 10:45am – 11:15am: Cyber security doesn’t have to be complicated (Intersect Cyber & IT)
• 11:30am – 12:00pm: Gateway to Growth – Grow Your Business Through Tendering (JGP Consultancy)
• 12:30pm – 1:00pm: Social Media Mistakes, and How To Fix Them (Launch North West)
