The Northern Engineering & Robotics Innovation Centre (NERIC – part of the University of Salford) currently has some funding available for companies that are looking to improve their operations through automation or robotics. It can offer you free consultancy with one of its technology consultants to help de-risk any investment you may be planning or just offer advice on possible next steps for your business.

Funded support can include:

• Technology feasibility

• Testing

• Rapid prototyping

• Technical advice and guidance

• Facilitated introductions to the local innovation ecosystem

You must be a Greater Manchester based SME operating within the advanced manufacturing or materials sectors to be eligible for the funding.
