VPS and Davis Site Security Join Forces

VPS has acquired Davis Site Security, which was established in 2002. It was a small family run business providing Rental CCTV solutions to the Construction Industry in and around Birmingham. In July 2017, Nick Southern, a former professional rugby player and successful security business owner, acquired Davis. Nick, along with his senior management team, then focussed entirely on growing Davis.  As part of that growth and their drive for continual improvement they were acquired by the VPS Group in January 2025.

The Journey

• In 2017 Davis had a Construction portfolio of 4 Sites.

• Today, due to their “can do” culture and by working with commitment and enthusiasm Davis/ VPS have grown to 250 plus Sites.

As part of their blue-chip and wide-ranging portfolio of Customers including: Vistry, Barratts, Crest Nicholson, Bam, Taylor Wimpey and Tilbury Douglas,

The experienced Davis/ VPS team are now brand leaders in the Security Provision Rental market , especially in the Midlands. They now want to develop further in both the North and the South and have the capacity, structure, and resources in place throughout the UK to support their expansion plans. Their drive and determination have seen them breaking into the Energy Sector with exciting major project opportunities in Scotland and Coventry.

Davis have various SSIP Accreditations which include – CHAS, SMAS, Construction Line Gold, Once For All – Health & Safety, etc.
