With the Simpler Recycling Policy now in place, businesses must be recycling the core recyclables. The Education team can help ensure your employees have all the information they need to recycle right at work and at home.
The Recycle for Greater Manchester Education team offer all sorts of different ways for your group to learn how to recycle right, how we are working to reduce waste, and how solar power is used in the waste industry.
Businesses located in Greater Manchester (excluding Wigan) can book a FREE site tour at one of our following visitor centres:
- Materials Recovery Facility - where mixed recycling from households across Greater Manchester goes to get separated
- Renew Hub - where furniture and items are upcycled, repaired and allocated to our Renew shops
- Solar Farm – learn about how energy is made from sunlight and what that has to do with waste
The Education Team can also come to your business to deliver a workshop or give a talk as part of a meeting or working lunch. We can even deliver a session online.
