London School of Mediation has 13 years' experience of delivering accredited mediation training courses of the highest quality both within the UK and internationally and are partnering with Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce in a dispute resolution scheme.
Conflict can be very costly to business, leading to loss of efficiency, low morale and loss of profit. Mediating the conflict is quick, confidential and cost efficient.
The new service will offer businesses access to world class mediation training, operating from the Chamber’s offices in Elliot House in Manchester City Centre, along with a mediation service to resolve problems without the time and expense of going to court.
The Chamber’s new service comes after the Government introduced measures to encourage businesses to resolve disputes before they go to court. These measures, which include introducing employment tribunal fees and a compulsory early conciliation service, have led to a drop in the number of tribunal claims.
A new website, Chamber Resolution, has been launched to support the service, which will feed into the London School of Mediation website. The website enables people to access the service through the partnership to book onto training sessions using the London School of Mediation’s current booking system.
We are also pleased to be able to provide as part of the new Business Dispute Resolution Service, a fully accredited mediation service to companies and individuals who have unresolved disputes.
Mediation is a quick, cost effective, private option to resolve a dispute that parties can’t seem to settle for themselves, without the need for legal action, courts, tribunals, judges and expensive legal bills.
By using our high quality, trained mediators who are expert in helping parties find a resolution that ends with a win-win solution, both sides gain something from mediation and nobody feels as though they have lost.
It is a proven process that provides for respectful and constructive dialogue between everyone involved. A positive outcome for all parties is our mission.
For more information on the Business Dispute Resolution Service, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.

Apprentice Share - Launched as a shared Apprenticeship scheme in 2012 with an initial aim of generating a sustainable programme of work for apprentices the shared apprenticeship scheme enables organisations to pool their projects into programmes making more sustainable training opportunities for apprentices.
It is becoming increasingly difficult for SME’s to commit to two or three years training for an apprentice because the work is disjointed and there is a risk that apprentices could become displaced. In this arrangement, Apprentice Share becomes the legal employer of the Apprentice and the on-the-job training is shared amongst various Host Employers.
Apprentice Share works with a Host Employer and whichever training provider the client or Host Employer has requested. The timesheet, payroll and invoicing function is currently carried out by our partner company who are the main point of contact for any employment related query.
Candidate Matching – Candidate matching is a service that matches talented individuals to your current vacancies for a small fee of £500. This allows businesses to recruit individuals that are right for their business without the need to pay heavy recruitment fees. With strong working relationships with the major universities, Colleges and employment services, GMCC can help overcome those recruitment nightmares.
Non-Executive director recruitment - For businesses looking for strategic advice, a non-executive director (NEXD) can be a fast track to commercial wisdom, astute introductions and constructive criticism of your strategy.
Recruiting an NEXD can be a great way to bring in a highly skilled, experienced and well-connected individual that could provide a fresh perspective on your business. They can provide an objective view, bring new ideas and provide valuable advice to the executive team.
For businesses looking to find the right NEXD GMCC can help with their bespoke, discrete recruitment service. Utilising the strong connections of our members, our own board, and our senior management team GMCC can help find the right candidate for you.
Psychometric Testing – Whether you are looking to understand your current workforce, help develop your management team or simply understand your own personality GMCC can help with Psychometric testing.
This is a bespoke service that can be carried out online at a basic level or on site at your premises at a more in depth level. To find out more get in touch on the details below.
