Leading law firm Freeths has advised on its second loan for Alpha Bank London Limited. The facility is a £38.5 million term loan to a private client, with Freeths’ Real Estate and Finance teams working collaboratively with the client team to execute a complex, multi-jurisdictional loan.

The term loan facility saw the business secure a portfolio of more than 23 commercial and residential properties and a fleet of motor vehicles, with borrowers located in multiple jurisdictions and a significant number of offshore corporate entities. This formed part of a total loan of £40 million, with Freeths acting for all lenders.
Leading the Freeths team on this deal were Partners Daniel Abrahams and Will Heywood. They were supported by Partners Craig Jones and Tim Foley, Director Ayesha Qayum, Managing Associate Frances Astbury, Senior Associates Sophie Moonshine and Richard Grant and Associates Karkay Lee, Isabel Protheroe and Nicole Hendy.
Commenting on the deal, Daniel Abrahams (pictured) said: “We are pleased to have supported Alpha Bank, on this second transaction. A client with whom our teams work seamlessly to conclude complex and high value loans. This loan showcased the strength of our multi-disciplinary financing capabilities, including real estate and motor vehicles as security for the loan, showing our ability to be adaptable to client requirements.”
