Having been part of the fabric of Stockport for more than 150 years, Gorvins Solicitors has reinforced its commitment to the town by signing a sponsorship deal with Stockport County Football Club (SCFC).
The law firm has pledged its support for the Hatters ahead of the 2025/26 season, sponsoring the premium lounge at Edgeley Park along with pitch-side branding.
Gorvins is committed to active and progressive corporate responsibility, with a particular focus on delivering lasting value to the Stockport community and a commitment to support the town’s growth and success.
Its partnership with Stockport County kicks off just in time, with the Club returning to action at Edgeley Park against Hull City in their final pre-season match on Saturday 26th July with their first home league match of the season on Sunday 3rd August against Bolton Wanderers.
This is the latest in a long line of community commitments for the firm, which sponsors the Stockport Business Awards and actively participates with a number of local organisations, including Stockport Economic Alliance, Marketing Stockport and Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce.
SCFC currently compete in EFL League One. Founded in 1883, it’s one of the UK’s longest established football clubs. The Club’s community outreach programmes were its main attractions for the law firm.
