As of October 2025, St Ann’s Hospice is now Moya Cole Hospice.
The charity is at an important point in its history and has ambitious plans for the future as it builds a new hospice in Heald Green and develops its site at Little Hulton. This will allow it to continue to care for patients and their loved ones for generations to come.
This milestone has been the catalyst for a rebrand to enable it to continue to be a hospice that is relevant, welcoming and inclusive to all in the community.
On Wednesday 1st October 2025, it changed its name from St Ann’s Hospice to Moya Cole Hospice. Dr Moya Cole was the inspirational founder, a pioneering woman who championed the need for hospice care in our region.
The decision has not been taken lightly and has been made in conjunction with staff, volunteers, supporters and members of the community. While the name is changing, the outstanding care for patients and their loved ones will remain the same.
