Join us for an exciting new event!

You may already be familiar with our Business Women’s Network, but we're thrilled to introduce our Business Women’s Network – In Manufacturing and Engineering.

The event will be on ‘Women in Engineering Day’ and hosted with Manchester College. Earlier in the day we are bringing the business community to speak to young women to encourage them into the industry, following the student event we will be bringing the sector to an event to celebrate and network.

This event is designed to empower women in the industry, share best practices, create development opportunities, raise your profile, and build a strong peer-to-peer network.

This event is open to all individuals.

What to Expect?

This is the first event and we are eager to gather feedback and discuss how we can shape future events to best serve your needs.

  • Keynote speech from Manchester College and Sharon Seville, Stockport Vice-President of Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce and Director of F1rst Commercial Recruitment, who is a Manufacturing Management & Leadership specialist and passionate about inspiring young people into the industry.
  • Networking opportunities after the main event
  • Peer-to-peer networking and sharing best practices

Join us for tea and coffee at the Manchester College, where we will host an event to support businesses in Greater Manchester and beyond. As the largest Chamber of Commerce in the UK.

Greater Manchester is a major hub for manufacturing and engineering. The sector plays an essential role in the region’s economy, supporting the movement of goods for manufacturing and retail.

The growth of the industry in Greater Manchester will align with overall population and economic growth.

**Please note: There may be photographs taken at our events that will be used for marketing purposes and on our social media channels. If you do not wish to appear in any of our marketing materials or on our social media channels, please inform a member of the Chamber team at the start of the event.

We are open, inclusive and welcoming, and we celebrate the diversity which makes up our city region. We ask that all delegates and sponsors uphold our professional code at all times.
