The University of Manchester's Institute of Innovation Research has partnered with Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce to research into the adoption of digital technologies, the skills required to facilitate the adoption and the barriers faced.

Titled Adoption of Digital Technologies and Skills (ADiTS) Survey, this is an attempt to develop benchmark information about the adoption of Industry 4.0 and other digital technologies amongst businesses based in the North West of England. Depending on the number of different technologies adopted by your business, the survey should take between 15 and 25 minutes to complete.

In addition to gathering general business information, the survey includes questions on digital technologies, R&D, innovation and skills.

If you have any questions about the survey or the project, please write to the ADiTs survey coordinator, Xiaoxiao Yu  at xiaoxiao.yu@manchester.ac.uk or contact the Chamber's Research team at research@gmchamber.co.uk.

By completing this survey, you will enable us to map the adoption of digital technologies and skills requirements in businesses across the North West.

Your responses will remain anonymous but if you would like to receive an executive summary of the study, please enter your email address at the end of the survey.

You can take part in the survey here.
