Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce has joined forces with the British Chambers of Commerce and DIT to deliver this free webinar to explore business opportunities in the LATAC region for British Companies.

We are honoured to have Minister Jayawardena joining us and we will have a range of experts providing useful insights into the region and why now is the moment for British exporters to take the region within their stride to grow their global footprint.

Current trade with the LATAC region, as of 2019, represented less than 2% of the total UK Exports and Imports.

Within the EU28, the UK is the 6th largest exporter to LATAC, having Germany exporting nearly 5 times more than the UK to this region.

The top largest importers in the LATAC region are Mexico, Brazil, Chile, Argentina, and Colombia, and they offer a combined export untapped growth potential for British exporters of approximately of nearly USD$3.8bn across all sectors. 

The UK has also signed a significant number of Continuity Agreements with the Region which in principle will enable British companies trading with these markets mirroring the arrangements with the EU.  The current agreements include:
