Workforce Development Plans
Your business is in the middle of global pandemic, the economy isn’t in the best shape and you find yourself in a position where you need to find people with the skills to take your company forward on a path to recovery. How do you solve the problem of upskilling your workforce, and keeping your expenditure low, all with limited time on your hands?
The Chamber is here to help with our offer of a free Workforce Development Plan tailored to your business’ needs.
In a one-to-one meeting we can look at your current workforce and pinpoint any skills gaps you may have. For example, if you need to change staff roles due to Covid-19 we can help you to identify the potential training routes to upskill and redeploy existing staff members. These meetings can be held digitally, by phone and, in the future, face-to-face.
It is more important than ever to re-assess and upskill your workforce to meet the demands of the future. These meetings will help you to identify your business needs, implement required training and assess the funding and grants available to your business.
To qualify for a free Workforce Development Plan, your business must:
- Be an SME with under 250 employees
- Be based in Greater Manchester
- Have not undergone a development plan already under phase 1 or 2
