Assembly

The Assembly gives Chamber members the opportunity to bring forward business issues, discuss their impact and agree on any action that needs taking.

It plays a crucial role on behalf of the Chamber's 4,800 members – it acts as a sounding board, a decision-making group and a focal point to tackle business issues across the Greater Manchester business community.

Our quarterly meetings, chaired by Chamber President Wayne Jones OBE, remain a vital and valued element of our work on behalf of our members. With open forum debate, interactive voting and expert speakers, there are a number of ways for members to get involved. They can become an elected Assembly member or one of our Local Presidents – a more formal role in the Assembly, championing local business issues.

Assembly members get advanced notice to meetings with key local and national political and business leaders, as well as other opportunities to play a major role in other parts of the Chamber's work.
