Trade Shows & Missions

We work closely with the Department for International Trade and global partners to provide you with a wide range of opportunities to participate in trade missions, overseas exhibitions and fairs. This gives you the opportunity to meet potential buyers, distributors, suppliers or partners across the world.

Tradeshow Access Programme

UK companies can also access DIT's Tradeshow Access Programme(TAP) which provides funding for eligible businesses to attend overseas trade shows. This can help your business to gain experience in attending trade shows, improve market knowledge and find potential buyers.

If you would like more information on any of the exhibitions or eligibility for TAP, please email

Healthcare/Life Science Exhibitions

GM Chamber has partnered with Medilink to support members in the sector to go global.   Check the upcoming trade exhibitions here.   If you are a chamber member interested in attending and accessing some of their services at preferential rates, please email us at

Planning to exhibit in an Overseas Trade Fair/Exhibition?

From the 1st January 2021, companies participating in International Trade Fairs or Exhibitions taking place in the EU will now be considered temporary exports if you are planning to return with them in the same state as they were taking.  ATA Carnets can facilitate the temporary movement  of those goods, and our team can help you!

ATA Carnets last up to 12 months and are known as the 'Passport for Goods'.  Our Trade Team is an authorised agent for issuing ATA carnets and can also help with indemnity guarantees if you do not have one in-house.   Visit our website for more information and how to apply, or contact our team at 0161 489 3170 / 393 4314 or email them at if your need further information.

Sponsorship Opportunities

As the Chamber continues to develop its portfolio of services, we will be looking to offer trade mission programmes for new to export/import and experienced exporters/importers who are seeking new global customer or expand their supply chain.  If you are interested in partnering with the Chamber to work in our mission programme, please email us at
